Drawing with your ears

I have also found that throughout this course my art making has developed and changed. I always liked using natural fibers but now I use leaves, flowers and sticks. Each piece of art is a little memory of the places I have visited, the nature I see -like little time capsules that change while they dry out.

In a farm in Co Fermanagh, I found working in nature and with nature in a small group of women to be very rewarding and that through experiencing and connecting with nature they where able to learn about themselves and use nature to support themselves in other areas of their life. I have also seen this in previous employment where I would take workshops with adults with learning disabilities. They enjoyed making art in nature and with nature.
